Monique Todd is the Chief Operations Officer of Able Academics LLC. Monique was a classroom teacher, administrator, and college professor in California from 1997- 2008. Monique has experience as President of several educational corporations that provided direct educational services to over 20,000 families annually. She has two Masters Degrees: Education, Administration and Education, Curriculum and Instruction. She recently completed her doctorate in Education. Monique is a published author of the award-winning curriculum, “Brain in a Box” grade levels K-5th which were comprised of over 70 original learning centers for students. The data from “Brain in a Box” was collected over a 3-year study with 20,000 children and proven to raise grades 20%. “Brain in a Box” was the doctoral dissertation project of Ms. Todd and sold Internationally. Monique is an experienced grant writer who has written over $40,000,000 in funded grants and RFPs. Monique moved to Florida in 2013.
Jessica Masamitsu is the Chief Financial Officer of Able Academics, LLC. Jessica is a long-term employee who has been with Able since 2010. Jessica’s hard work, attention to detail and fiscal responsibility made her the clear choice for the CFO position. Jessica had previously been a manager overseeing tutoring throughout California and school expansion into Florida. Jessica is an amazing mom, volunteer coach and softball player. Jessica is a valued member of the Able Academics Family.
Julianna Knittel is the Director of Operations and Principal for Able Academics, LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from California State University, Bakersfield and her Masters in Collaborative Educational Leadership from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, Ca. Julianna has worked in education for the past seventeen years and has throughout her career searched for an organization like Able that allows students to grow not only in traditional education, but also socially and emotionally. Julianna has served as our school principal since we opened. She is a proud aunt, sister, and a Disney fanatic!
Christopher Lytle is the Clinical Director at our Cocoa location. After graduating with a Bachelor’s double majored in Criminology and Psychology in 2008, it took Chris several career changes to find his true path. While working a security job at Florida Institute of Technology in 2015, Chris discovered ABA and completed a Masters degree with an additional focus in Organizational Behavior Management. Shortly after passing his board certification test to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, he started working at Able. After first being promoted to Lead Behavior Analyst, in December 2020 Chris was promoted to his current position as Clinical Director.
Kassi Block M.A., BCBA, graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology and Fitness Instruction. She started working with children on the Autism Spectrum in May 2013 right after graduating from Indiana University. Kassi received her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. When she began her journey as an RBT, she knew that this is what she wanted to do with her life. She dreamed of becoming a BCBA, so she could have the privilege of working with these amazing individuals every day. She became a mom in October 2020 and never knew she could love so much.
April Matthews M.A., BCBA, mother of one handsome little boy. April received her B.S in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida and shortly after received her M.A., in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. April’s strengths include communication, being passionate, and is super empathetic. April has been working in the behavior field for over 10 years and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for 7 years. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her son, shopping, and reading. April is excited to be a part of the Able family and her overall goal is to continue to provide integrity, honesty, and dependability to all of the families, clients, and staff at Able.
Kayla Webster started with Able in 2017 and continually worked herself up the company leadership chain through her creativity, work ethic and attention to detail. Kayla started as a Registered Behavioral Technician in 2017 and became a Lead RBT within the year. Upon growth of the company, she helped manage new sites and later became the Managing Lead and Human Resources Assistant for over 50 employees. In her current role, Kayla is responsible for helping Able Academics perform efficiently as we continue to expand. Kayla is currently pursuing her bachelors in Business at Eastern Florida State College. Kayla is a creative entrepreneur with her own side-business of personalized products called Happily Ever Homemade. Kayla is an amazing and devoted mom to her little girl and strives to be a resource to other moms through her work at Able Academics.
Hannah Hudson started working at Able Academics in the beginning of 2018. She started as an Instructional Aid and then became a RBT. From there she worked her way up. She has a brother with special needs and discovered at a young age her passion for working with children. When she found Able, she knew it was the place where she could grow and better herself. Hannah is a proud wife, mother of two, and a volunteer cheer coach.
Alyssa Hewitt is a mother of three, a proud wife, and an advocate for children diagnosed with ASD. She has been working within the ABA field since 2015. Having children of her own diagnosed with ASD, Alyssa has found her passion assisting families to find the guidance that they need. The quote she most connects with is, “love needs no words”. Finding progress and love with the action of her everyday heroes.
Debbie Keesling has been at our school since it opened. She has a variety of responsibilities, but her favorite part of her job is interacting with all the parents and students. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her grandkids and her birds.
Able the Able Guy has been our company mascot for the past eleven years. He was made in Sylmar, California in 2009. He has appeared at provider fairs, school functions, and danced at our talent shows. He has brought joy to all the children he meets!
